
Official Rules
1.
Jack AZ Bass LLC
reserves the right to refuse tournament entry to any team or individual at the
tournament director’s discretion.
2.
No aqua views during
tournaments.
3.
No live baits. Artificial lures and baits only. Pork is allowed.
4.
No spot or water holding
by another boat.
5.
Any of the following
will Immediately DISQUALIFY your team from the tournament with forfeiture of
entry fee: Possession/consumption of
alcohol or drugs during tournament hours, unsportsmanlike conduct, unsafe boating,
possession of live bait, or violation of any Game and Fish Regulation or Laws.
6.
Five Fish Limit: Measured on a golden rule board. No more than seven fish in possession at a
time. Big fish breaks ties.
7.
Slot Lakes: Only one bass between 13"-16” per
person may be kept and weighed in. The team will be DQ’d on the
spot if more than one slot per person is weighed in.
8.
Fish: Large and small mouth bass only.
9.
Dead Fish: A .20 pound penalty will be imposed for each
dead fish.
10. A life vest & kill switch must be worn at all
times when big engine is running, except in no wake areas.
11. Late penalty: One pound
per minute up to 15 minutes, over 15 minutes will result in DQ.
12. No wake areas will be observed by all boats in Jack AZ
Tournaments, going too fast or on plane will result in DQ.
13. Jack AZ boat officials will be on the water watching
for violations.
14. Protests must be made to the tournament director
before completion of weigh-in.
15. Boat must have working live wells.
16. Equipment
failure or emergency: In the vent of equipment failure or
emergency, contestant’s boat may be towed to the check-in. If it is necessary to transfer fish to
another boat, it must be another contestant’s boat. At least one member of the team must accompany the fish to the
weigh-in site.
17. The intentional snagging of fish is strictly
prohibited. Only one rod and reel may
be used at a time.
18. No fishing within 100 feet of the gas pumps. Fish in the marina at your own risk.
19. No cut tails on slot lakes.
20. Cell phones in the boat during the tournament are for
emergency use only.
21. No tying up to marker buoys.
22. All teams must fish four of six tournaments to qualify
for the championship, each partner can fish two tournaments apiece alone if
there is a medical emergency.
23. Dead fish-Participants will be responsible for dead
fish and if your fish are in bad shape, will also be responsible for these
fish. You will receive these fish back
into your possession.
