News of a fellow bass fisherman being critically injured in an unfortunate boating accident at Bartlett on Saturday stunned everyone at the lake. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
Jim Wood and Scott Guetti won the JackAz Bass tournament at Bartlett Lake over a field of 68 teams. They teamed up to weigh-in a five fish limit of 13.28 lbs including the 4.36 lb Big Fish of the tournament to take home checks totaling $2150. The team of Wheeler & Amerson were second with 12.01 lbs and collected $900. Third place and $800 went to Senft & Daniels with a total weight of 12.00 lbs.  Kruezer's and Czerniski's 30.79lb day two limit
Two teams, Chaney/Shattenburg and Finley/Snedecker, were deadlocked at 13.77 lbs at the end of day one at Roosevelt. The team of Hawks/Pavlov were a close 3rd just .3 lbs behind with 13.48 lbs including the day's 9.58 lb big bass. 2007-2008 JackAZ Bass points leaders Dean Kreuzer and Steve Czerniski were 4 1/2 lbs back in 8th place with 9.19lbs.
San Carlos gave up some really nice sacks on day two. Hawks/Pavlov brought in 16.13 lbs for 4th place on day two. Porter/Porter came in 3rd on day two with a very nice 17.02 bag. Day one leaders Chaney/Shattenburg came in 2nd on day two with a solid 21.07 lb catch. But Czerniski & Kreuzer have San Carlos dialed in! Their huge day two limit weighed 30.79 lbs and included the big fish of the day an 8.78 lb kicker!
Final results of the two day event have the team of Steve Czerniski and Dean Kreuzer winning the championship with a two day total of 39.98 lbs to take home checks totaling $3,700. Second place and $2,200 went to Judy Chaney and Sam Shattenburg with a total of 34.84 lbs. Third place went to the team of Hawks and Pavlov who weighed a total of 29.61 lbs and collected $1,600.

The team of Graffa & King took second with 11.04 lbs and collected $900. Third place and $900 went to Austin & Hallock with a total weight of 10.47 lbs.

Fishing at Roosevelt changed a whole bunch in the few weeks since our last tournament at the end of July when we had 4 limits over 20lbs! The team of Hallock and Austin won the JackAz Bass night tournament held Saturday, August 23rd at Roosevelt Lake over a field of 16 teams. They teamed up to weigh-in 12.88 lbs including the 3.39 lb Big Fish of the tournament to take home checks totaling $1,300! The team of Dalby & Graffa were second with 11.69 lbs and collected $550. Third place and $250 went to Allen & Price with a total weight of 7.71 lbs. For all the tournament details Click Here .
This was our last night tournament for the year and thanks to all the teams who fished with us. Our next JackAz Bass tournament is the first of our Future Pro's tournaments and will be held at Roosevelt September 6th. Hope to see you there!

Clear skies, a little breeze and decent temperatures made for a great night of fishing at Barlett last Saturday, August 9th. Staying up well past their normal bedtimes, Ron Schofield and Denny Anderson managed to stay awake just long enough to catch a 13.88 lb limit and win our tournament over a field of 32 teams. Their bag included the 4.71 lb Big Fish of the tournament and Ron and Denny took home checks totaling $1,600! The team of Love & Duran were second with 10.92 lbs and collected $650. Third place and $550 went to Hallock & Austin with a total weight of 10.04 lbs. Thomas and Rose Win By a Nose at Roosevelt! |

What an amazing night at Roosevelt on Saturday! Two 29 pound sacks were weighed in and 1st and 2nd place were determined by just three hundreth of a pound! The team of Thomas and Rose won it by a nose while weighing in 29.06 lbs; just edging out Hodges and Crawford who weighed in 29.03 lbs. On top of that, Hodges and Crawford tied for Big Fish with 3rd place team Allen and Price, both teams weighing in a 9.35 lb bass and splitting the $650 Big Fish pot! Thank you all for your patience with us not having all the night tourney results up on our website. Many of you have heard our old laptop computer was stolen in May. Once we replaced it we then had difficulty using the new Vista software to get our results to the website. That problem is resolved and we'll get the missing tournament results posted as soon as possible. **UPDATE** Sorry to say this but our new laptop computer crashed and the missing night tournament results are gone forever.
